Stever,,, here's a great idea. Since you got everyone pegged, and you know everyones heart more than anyone on this planet.. which you do!! there is no argument. You have just made the assumption that screams are all from demons. And now, you have made the outrageous claim that somehow you know the heart of someone who screams I LOVE YOU JESUS,, more than Jesus Himself. This concerns me. You convince yourself!. Sad thing is, is you admitted you know nothing, and then make statements such as these. When someone screams falling from a tree,,,,, is that a demon falling from a tree?. When someone screams because they finally found their lost child,,, is that a demon? If a mother hasnt seen her boy in a year due to military service,, and she SCREAMS,,, should he perform an exorcism....????? When a Christian screams because someone has taken them out of context out of frustration, is that a demon.....? Do these seem like outrageous comparisons.... The man,, who Loves Jesus, gives his life to Jesus, and begins to serve others and reach areas that no other man dare to enter,,,,,, is a demon??????????? how can this be?.. I mean surely not everyone in these bands is saved.. that of course is a guess but probably a pretty good one due to Gods word pointing out that not everyone will receive, and that some will be like wolves in sheeps clothing.. understandable. but you have put every one of them in the same hell bound bundle.... does this include the men who will actually attend a GODMEN event to JUDGE for themselves if its FOR THEM....tongues aint for me.. does that mean people dont have them?.. Just go ahead and say you dont know, because you dont.. is healing for today??? I cant wait to hear this,, have some men exploited tithing for financial gain....???? we both know the answer to that..... Can God use a musician to spread the gospel... HE DOES IT ALL THE TIME!!.... God can even use THIS goofball… (me).. wow!! The man who has denied God,,,, turned away from the free gift of salvation. Joins a SCREAMO band and SCREAMS,,,, I hate GOD... now, we have some meat to chew on. Some evidence if you will. An extreme lack of fruit... The guy who joins the CHRISTIAN Rock band and totally glorifies himself and it is evident in his life,, and is finally REMOVED.... now we have to take a serious look.. NO FRUIT... NOTHING,, hence,, now we have to make a judgment, now we have to make a determination based on the facts, and what we have witnessed... We just dont take the LOT of them and cast them aside as false conversions. Oh how miserable the man who is on his knees daily, serving God, serving others,,, and preaching the gospel to every ear that would hear.. Oh how miserable this man who for the sake of SCREAMING, I LOVE YOU JESUS,,, who has realized at the end of his journey that he only thought his heart was right... If only he would have listened to Stever... This doesnt even compute in my mind, and I cannot stand screaming, especially when women do it for no reason... BUT, I cannot look someone in the face and say they are being controlled by a demon(unless their head turns around and they projectile vomit)... when their lives show me otherwise.. that cant be right. I do not have that authority. This is such a sad communication. I am truly heart broken that others perceive others in this fashion...especially when we claim the same TRIBE. God can take ALL THINGS and use them for good.... ALL ,,,not some, not two,,,, not just what Stever thinks,,and use it for good.. and if His people who are called by his name should abuse their gifts.. GOD WILL REMOVE THEM.. In His time,,, NOT OURS. When you think of a guy like me,,, you perhaps think of me as lost and confused. Is it not grand that I still must believe by your admission that you are my brother..not my lost brother, but my brother. Sir, I am saved by the Blood of Jesus the Christ,,,,, and by that grace I have attained the ability to acknowledge that you too have received this free gift by your own admission. I dont know for sure, but I must adhere to your claim, and basically take your word for it. Can you truly say that you acknowledge me in the same way?.... perhaps if I can come out of this blindness.. Perhaps my 10 years of leading others to the Lord not preaching an empty gospel but one of truth and one of repentance,, and one that actually shows the non-believer that state of their relationship with God by pointing it out to them with Love using Gods perfect Law which also showed me why I need HIM.. was just a complete waste of time.. The good news is......... perhaps some of the people I witnessed to stayed away from Christian alternative and other forms of music.. At least I layed down my life for another... If this is true, than that also means that God can use all things,, even mislead things,,, for Good. That is of course, unless, I was not mislead, and was actually saved. I do not believe that I have been mislead.. for my musical interests are focused on those that profess Jesus the Christ...... I do not even listen to anything that will not proclaim Jesus.. (now I opened up a can of worms for everyone that listens to secular love songs).. yikes!!!!! Its just me folks, don't worry… I wish I was strong enough to do that with media!!!!! dont you Stever???? Or perhaps you dont watch the news,, or HGTV, or ESPN,,, because they do not openly profess the name of Jesus the Christ..... maybe you set the bar for what you believe to be Holy and Godly and not demon possessed... There is no gray area,,, you are either for Him or against Him. There is no middle ground.. RIGHT???? so. You have isolated and confined in your mind a particular music style that we have hard evidence against has been used by darkness,, by Satan himself to use willing participants in promoting His lies,, his killing, stealing and destroying.... WILLING PARTICIPANTS.. people who sold their soul for ROCK AND ROLL..... I agree one hundred percent with you in that aspect because its more than obvious.... The first person that started country music???? how do we know he wasnt a Satan worshipper? do you know?.. Because if you do, you believe what the media and encyclopedias tell you.. You dont have the complete story.. So, since you or I do not have actual proof of who it is that actually wrote the first country song,, we must assume that ALL THINGS CAN BE USED FOR GOOD, we would have to have knowledge of all things to assume that the devil has dibs on a style of music... it all depends on the person USING THE THING, and the condition of their heart.. You are probably thinking,,, the truth will set ME FREE.. RIGHT?????? What is the truth?? Stever? are you thinking,, I mean really man,, my supposed Christian brother.. are you hindering? Are you lifting up? Are you edifying?, are you absolutely sure?.....Stever! I am not sure. That is for sure. I just cant believe that God cannot use his people in all areas… I'll make you a deal... I will sincerely pray for you and I that wisdom would come our way.. Not so I can prove to you my point.. but so WE,, as brothers in Christ would have the ability to not be distracted so much that it would hinder our walk,, or our views regarding each other.. For both of us have agreed that WE THINK,, we have accepted the gift of eternal life.. But in reality,,, only time will tell. PS: I am also sorry for the depression you have been going through. I will pray for restoration of peace in your daily life. Also, I truly can relate to why you see things the way you do. I have just been a part of the lives of hundreds of people that are in the music ministry…. And I do not see things the way you do.. I see God moving through his people… You’d have to be pretty blind Stever to be right in the middle of hell, and not see it. jC I go in peace…..
