Spaceship: Let me take a different tack with you. First, you absolutely amazed me with your comment, "The United States is the greatest country that has ever existed on the face of the earth." Wow! We have something in common. I believe that too! I also agree with you that we SHOULD be trying to heal our riduculous partisan rifts in this country. Where we disagree, I guess, is who is preventing that from happening? I think it is the party that is out of power. Look, you totally misread me if you believe I'm against debate or any criticism of the PREZ and/or his administration. But, hurling insults by the MSM and your party leadership at the administration for EVERYthing said or done is NOT debate! You also seem to forget that a clear majority of our country's leadership (reps and senators) voted in the affirmative for the war. But, it seems very few on the left have the courage of their convictions and have back peddled on all their original criticisms of the enemy for political gain. BTW, look up "vitriolic" in the dictionary. I don't think I was using that on any of my "talking points". However, if you actually READ some of the speeches of your leadership (Al Gore, et al) you'll better understand the word "vitriolic". Ziobuck, retired AF officer, and lover of his country.
