Repeating talking points isn't an objective evaluation of reality. I thought about responding in kind to your comments, but I won't. Maybe because I'm "naive", or maybe because I think it's silly to hurl insults at each other. I've tried to make the case that we should be trying to heal our ridiculous partisan rifts in this country. You responded by parroting vitriolic talking points. Not helpful. There are constructive, nuanced ways to talk about the future of our country and the policies we see in Washington. Instead of carpet-bombing people with ridiculous slogans, we should be discussing the real issues at hand. You seem to be coming from the perspective that any and all criticism of the President during a time of war is inappropriate and unpatriotic. This is ridiculous. The United States is the greatest country that has ever existed on the face of the earth. It will not be destroyed by political debate and free discussion. And frankly, with over 2000 Americans dead in Iraq, we should be talking about it. You may not agree with everything everybody has to say, but silence isn't patriotic. We're talking about the future of our country here, and it would be irresponsible not to have a debate.
