Where would we be without that purveyor of truth and tolerance, the education system? What must it be like to be so concerned about children that you can begin to dictate what they are allowed to eat at school and, more importantly, at home?
I bought some Frosted Flakes the other day and failed to notice they came with a 1/3 less sugar. Let me make this crystal clear. There is only one reason why I buy Frosted Flakes...FOR THE FROSTED!! If I wanted Frosted Flakes with the sugar removed I would have bought Wheaties!
My wife tells me the kids can't bring sodas or snack cakes to school because the school is so concerned about obesity. They desperately don't want my kids getting fat by food. They also don't want them getting fat by pregnancy but apparently that's a different fix. Condoms are made available so my kids can have sex but it won't make them fat. THERE'S your moral compass from the secular humanist. WE will tell you what you can a can't eat , but sex is all yours.
Listen, if you encourage indulgence in sex without consequence, why not apply it to food? If you can make the consequences of sex go away...why not the consequences of eating crap? Be consistent! You could teach kids to eat whatever and how much they want, including Twinkies and Dr. Pepper, then just teach them how to throw up! What's the difference? Have sex...no pregnancy, eat anything....purge. It's a free choice and we can even claim it's your constitutional right
All without notifying your parent by the way, I mean, isn't that what public school was meant for? Sure we have a problematic national school system that ranks near the bottom in math and science, but I'll bet we're at the top of the list when it comes to teaching kids what to eat and how to use prophylactics. Remember we live in an America whose chief aim is to allow us to indulge our appetites.
Whatever I desire becomes my "right". Really? Then I desire Frosted Flakes to have a 1/3 MORE sugar! I want at least a cup poured at the bottom of the box to ensure my sugar fix. But no, not with big brother at the helm. The new battle cry for kids is simple; Don't deny me and don't judge me either, as my self-esteem couldn't take the hit. Of course reading and writing and arithmetic have their place, but when I fail at it you can teach me how to sue others for bias or prejudice or emotional distress.
That's what the Founding Fathers had in mind for school, to teach me and ESPECIALLY others...No one is more important than me.
Yes public school really came into its own when it began to be run by the politically correct and no longer demanded personal responsibility. You removed swats and discipline along time ago and OH aren't the kids nicer now? Finally you've created a learning enviroment where kids can be trusted with automatic weapons.
All of this and you think the real problems for our kids isn't moral absolutes, it's with sugar in Frosted Flakes? Enough is enough. Yet this is the education system in America baby! Keep em from sugar and pass the condoms, just as our Founding Fathers dreamed.

Oh, by the way, my e-mail is aliera86@yahoo.com if you wish to contact me, and yell at me about how I'm going to hell for having a different set of beliefs than you do.
Re: Re: Eat Sugar, You Coward!
just found this message. i dont yell at anyone. in performance i create a character style not unlike Bill maher, carlin etc.
I never respond to malice as in your note since you don't desire dialogue, only fighting. Uninteresting to me. Come back when you are interested in adult discussion and perhaps we can explore ideas together. bstine Re: Eat Sugar, You Coward!

Hey Brad,
Just wanted to say thank you so much for all the work you've been doing. I've seen a good portion of your Wussification DVD and I have to say they have blessed with laughter and with thought too. I love how you make a point with all that do in your line of work. God has definitely anointed you with boldness and humor that we really need more believers to have! My family is in the military and they just moved to Italy so as a college kid I've been really having the challenge of keeping my faith alive and consistent with all the things I've been facing. Your comedic works have refreshed my faith in Christ and has encouraged me to increase the boldness that every believer NEEDS! Thanks again...hey if your ever in Texas again come by to Abilene. The city's got a massive amount of churches but many of them are wussies!!! I'll definitely do my part and continue praying and being bold but I could use some reinforcements :) God Bless You! As I type this my eight year old is digging through a bag of chocolate miniatures. Breakfast time. We do have fried bacon, fried eggs and toast with butter some mornings so we're not bad parents.
Anyway. I wanted to say, if you would run for president in 2012 my family would sooooo vote for you. I am happy to say that my children's school system is a small town public school that still has the 10 commandments posted above each classroom door and Air1 playing on the radio in the office from elementary to high school. They do not get condoms in the office or classrooms as most of the staff is in one church or another around here and well, imagine that being brought up in Sunday school. "Mr. Williams, did you remember the children's condom's for tomorrow?" Re: Re: Eat Sugar, You Coward!
